19/08/2017 BULLFINCH, GOLDFINCH. SMALL TORTOISESHELL

A few images from around the house yesterday, good to see some of this years broods coming to the feeders. The Small Tortoiseshell was the first I have had in the garden this year, and not seen any in other places. So they seem to be declining compared to previous years.

BOSCOWAN PARK TRURO & BUTTERMILK HILL ST IVES 12/08/2017

Just a few images from the last weekend, the weather is certainly not good at the moment and most of the small birds are keeping under cover. So hope things pick up again soon.

VARIOUS 02/08/2017

A few images from the last four days, not much on the land bird sightings at the moment, although the sea watching has been very good.
Butterflies and insects are hard to find at the present time due to the inclement weather we are having. I did manage to get these butterflies on Monday when we had a dry sunny mornig although it was a struggle.
There are a few early sings that some migrants are coming through ,and hopefully this will increase over the next few weeks.
