So below are a selection of images taken over the two days.
BLACKBIRD
There were about 15 of these in this one field.
I SAW IT FIRST
Territorial squabbles took place on more than one occasion.
WOODPIGEON.
Some just could not be bothered to watch the goings on.
REDWING.
Others watched with interest.
ROBIN
Some were luckly and had grandstand views.
COMMON BUZZARD.
Maybe there will be a meal at the end of this.
COAL TIT.
Silly birds let them get on with it " Now where is that grub "
Lovely Images Monty.
ReplyDeleteLove the Coal Tit.
John.
Great pictures. I love the one with the two birds fighting.
ReplyDeleteWonderful pictures, Monty. The two birds fighting is really a great shot, great contrast with the black birds and white snow.
ReplyDeleteSunny :)
Great shots Monty, Blackbirds certainly fight.
ReplyDeleteA lot of that squabbling going on Monty.
ReplyDeleteI put apples out on the lawn and they are being closely guarded by 1 female Blackbird that won't let anyone else near them.
Definitely survival of the fittest at the moment Monty.
ReplyDeleteLove the Blackbird shots, the Robin is cute too.
ReplyDeleteI see some birds here too, I just never get close enough to take pictures. They are very shy around here.
