THINGS ARE BEGINNING TO STIR.

Spent some time in the garden today although it was still quite cold with a strong South Westerly blowing, still it did not stop this Six Spot Ladybird from testing the climate. It was still very slow in its movements and could really do with some Sunshine as we all could, anyway made sure it was in a nice sheltered spot. The forcast says rain tomorrow and then getting warmer and sunnier, and like the whole of nature I cannot wait.

  1. Good to see the gardeners friend out and about. A few bees busily collecting nectar here today. Fingers crossed for good weather Monty.

  2. Hi,
Have reached your site via other Cornish sites. As someone born in Redruth great to read and see photos of places that have so much local history and meaning to me as well as great wildlife images.

  3. We have hundreds of ladybugs this year. I have always liked them but they are really becoming a pest, getting in the house, in the laundry, etc. I'd be happy to send you some if you would like them - ha! ha!
    Sunny :)
