OFF MY BLOG

I'm afraid I have been guilty of gross neglect over the past 2 1/2 weeks as I have not looked at my blog or anyone else's,and for that I do apologise. It seem that everything I Photographed was not good enough, add to that the fact that I was without transport for 5 weeks whilst waiting the outcome from the Insurance Co (They finally wrote the car off as to expensive to repair). So I was just left with wandering around the local patch, and I could not Photograph anything I had not already posted. needless to say it was a gloomy time.
So the last couple of weeks were spent sorting out some new transport (which I now have) and I am upwardly mobile once more.
So have been out a couple of times over the last week and finally managed to get a few images to post. These are nothing special just some ordinary species I came across while chasing that Dammed elusive Golden Eagle that been around for a few weeks, and I have still not caught up with it. I go in one direction and it turns up in the opposite.
Anyway its good to be back and I hope the short break will have done me some good and I will try to catch up on all your blogs over the next few days.

    This is a lovely series of pictures, I especially like the coloring on the Whooper Swan.

    So glad you have managed to sort out your transport problems Monty, I guessed that might explain your lack of posting.

    Well, they might be 'just some ordinary species' but they are extraordinarily nice photos! And to me the Whooper is not ordinary at all. We don't see them here :(
