SUMMERTIME BLUES.

*****************************************************

Oh what a beautiful windy ,wet, miserable weekend, well we have to keep positive don't we.
So Monday morning and nothings changed, so its back to last weeks outings for the post, when we did get a couple of decent days.

GATEKEEPER.

GREYLING.

This is my first Greyling and really pleased to get a new  species.

SCALLOPED OAK.

A rare chance to get the moth trap out.

SILVER Y

This one gave me a real runaround at the Carnon Valley before
it settled long enough for me to get 2 shots.

  1. I've never seen a Grayling - it looks like it would be very effectively camouflaged when not on the buddleia.
Your weather looks similar to ours though it did brighten up here in the late afternoon - fingers crossed for today.

  2. Beautiful captures, ...some insects have great camouflage.

    Have a lovely day!
