MONO MONDAY ( A CHILL WIND ).

Took this image on Saturday morning on a visit to St Gothian Sands NR, I wanted to see if any of the Migrating Sand Martins or Wheatears had arrived but none were seen.
There was very little avian activity as there was a strong Easterly wind blowing, and although it was a beautiful clear morning it was very cold which made it look very desolate.
I have tried to portray this feeling in today's offering.
Beyond the sand ridge is the beach and Atlantic Ocean into St Ives Bay.

  1. You have conveyed that perfectly Monty. It definitely has a desolate rather bleak look. Being in black and white it could almost look like frosty marshland or moorland.

I hope you are getting some of the glorious, sunny and warm weather we are enjoying here!
