MONO MONDAY (THE LONG GRASS).

So here we are again back putting a long overdue post on the blog, the reason I have not been posting is because my Wife and myself have been away for a weeks break to East Yorkshire.
We stayed in Hull and visited the beautiful cities of York and Lincoln, also spent a day in Scarborough. We really enjoyed visiting all the historic places of interest even though the weather was not the best with wind and rain always a threat.
We arrived back late on Friday evening, then Saturday was spent at Bass Point on the Lizard working the Amateur Radio station for International Marconi Day. Sunday was spent doing catch up jobs.
So back to Mono Monday, and I took this image just before we went away, and I feel it portrays the Windy and Cold day it was at St Gothian Sands.

THE LONG GRASS.

  1. Yes, your photo conveys the chilly weather perfectly Monty.

It sounds like you had a very enjoyable holiday. I have never been to Yorkshire but am sure I would enjoy it....Did you see any Yellowhammers on your travels I wonder ;-)
