Hi folks.
Sorry for the lack of posts recently, but what with bad weather, and having the Grandchildren during the school holidays the Photography has taken a back seat.
Anyway did manage to get out twice over the last week,on the first outing caught up with the Wood Sandpiper that's been at Marazion. and this morning had a lovely encounter with two Choughs at Gwennap Head near Lands End they were very obliging down to about 6 metres.
Also managed to catch up with the Spotted Crake at Marazion, but only managed to get a record shot that was not good enough to publish.
So only another two weeks before the schools are back, and I really will miss the children but if the weather picks up will be able to get out and enjoy the Autumn migration.
So thanks for still looking and hope to get a few regular posts on soon and catch up with everyone.

  2. It sounds like you have been kept busy over the school holidays Monty :-) Such a shame the weather has been so awful, a real disappointment for all of us.

Two lovely photos of two birds I have never seen. The Chough is a beauty, I see it is heavily ringed.
